The original project created 10 aluminum profiles and 10 N-CASEŽ injection-moulded polycarbonate corners. Aliminum profiles can be combined in order to attain 25 different heigths on a range of 29mm to 210mm. They allow usage of 5mm-depth panels. Aluminum profiles have to be cut to length and assembled using polycarbonate corners choosing one of the following methods:
- gluing corners to profiles with a special polyhuretane glue.
- pneumatic crimping in order to attain a series of rivetings inside the case and to block the corner on the aluminum.
The RACE-CASE system presents a series of components and internal covers designed to suit the maximum dimensions of a standard case.
